Why are you drawn to the Alzheimer’s cause? Alzheimer’s affects everyone! Every 66 seconds another person is diagnosed and another family’s path is changed forever. We MUST work towards a cure.
What has been your favorite thing so far about working for the Alzheimer’s Association? The amazing staff that truly care about the mission and the families they serve.
What are you most looking forward to while working for the Miami Valley Chapter?Being able to provide more services to families especially those who may struggle to access care.
If you could give one piece of advice to families affected by Alzheimer’s, what would it be? Reach out! We are here to help at whatever level you want. Online resources, support groups, one on one family planning – whatever it is, we are here to support you on this path. Call our 24/7 Helpline at 1-800-272-3900 whenever you need assistance.
What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time? Travel – especially cruising!
Anything else you want us to know about you? Born in the UK and living in Canada for 20 years, I now call Ohio home with my two boys who are avid bowlers!
