The Miami Valley’s most comprehensive conference on Alzheimer’s and Dementia concluded today with a host of workshops and sessions about the disease. More than 400 Miami Valley residents attended the Dimensions of Dementia two-day conference to learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and how to care for those with the disease. Through lectures, keynote speeches, workshop sessions, and a community forum, we were able to educate the Miami Valley. People asked questions, heard national experts, discussed best practices for care and heard a comprehensive view of the state of research about the disease.
