Early Stage social engagement programs
The Early Stage social engagement programs at the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter offer a fun and comfortable way for people living in the early-stage of Alzheimer’s or other dementia and their care partners to get out, get active and get connected with one another through a variety of social events and community-based activities. These programs help promote social interaction and companionship.
Movie Monday
One of these programs, Movie Monday, is offered monthly. During this event, we offer a “Coffee Talk” social time where participants can connect and engage with one another. Afterwards, a movie is shown in a 22-seat state of the art theater.

An initial interview is required for all Early Stage programs
