Each year several of our volunteer advocates travel to Columbus to meet with legislators and honor those living with dementia. It’s a wonderful informative day that includes meetings, a luncheon with legislators, and speakers highlighting the importance of funding care and support for people with dementia and their caregivers.
The day provides an opportunity to share your story with your individual legislator or staff and ask for their support. Our coverage area includes nine counties and we need volunteer advocates from northern and outer counties to join us on Memory Day.
