July’s 15th Annual Young’s Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour was a huge success! This year alone the Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter received $24,000 which will be used locally to fuel our mission of providing care and support to all those affected, promoting brain health, and funding research to end the disease. THANK YOU to our riders, donors and cheerleaders – for helping us move our mission forward. Thanks also to the Young’s Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour Committee, our staff and volunteers who supported the ride.
Over the last 15 years, the Young’s Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour has given a total of $1,156,200 to the Association and the other three local non-profit organizations, including United Rehabilitation Services and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Funding) and South Community Inc., which provides mental health and substance abuse care in the Dayton area. Each year riders come together in support of each organization’s programs.
