Get the Information You Need with Our In-Person & Online Education Classes!

The Alzheimer’s Association offers both in-person and online education for caregivers and community members looking for more information about Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Our free e-learning workshops provide a convenient way to get the information you need without leaving home! Go through the programs at your own pace and access them as often as you need. Many of the courses are available in both English and Spanish.

Need personal interaction for learning?

Our in-person education programs allow caregivers, professionals, and community members to ask questions, learn from others attending the programs, hear from caregivers, and get the information they need in an interactive way. After attending a class, one caregiver stated, “this event was extremely helpful and provided practical tips and positive approaches to difficult topics.” Another caregiver wrote that after attending the Effective Communications & Understanding Dementia-Related Behaviors classes, the program would help them “navigate strange waters.”

Programs are held throughout our nine-county region and topics include basics of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, effective communication, dementia-related behaviors, legal and financial planning, and more. Staff and speaker’s bureau volunteers are also available to come to your civic group, church, school, or business to speak on one of our many topics.
